Writer Ahmed Al-Maslamani, Chairman of the National Media Authority, participated in the General Assembly of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), which was held for the 25th session of the Arab Radio and Television Festival in, held in Hammamet, Tunisia. The meeting discussed the Federation's future visions and Maspero's expected role in the work of the General Assembly and the Executive Council.

Al-Maslamani visited Tunisian Radio, where he was received by its Director General, Henda Ben Alia Ghribi, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador. An agreement was reached to enhance cooperation between Egyptian and Tunisian Radio.

During his visit to the headquarters of Tunisian Television, Al-Maslamani discussed with the CEO of Tunisian Television, Shukri Ben Nasir, ways to enhance news and programming exchange between the two sides.

The head of the National Media Authority also visited the Tunisian City of Culture, where he discussed with the Director General of International Cooperation and External Relations, Saif Allah Al-Tarshuni, ways to strengthen cultural media and the role of the Egyptian television's cultural channel, which is planned to be developed, in supporting the efforts and institutions of culture and the arts in the Arab world.
